Little garden: Early Spring
This is my garden in my precious half postage stamp of a yard. I’m so proud of my little sprouts for surviving and thriving this year! I love you little plants, shabby as you are! I’m mostly happy that they all lived, except for the climbing hydrangea of 2006, may he rest in peace. Thank you to Jackie for her help with the first year of planting, to Patti for her daffodil bulbs and columbine, to my parents for letting me take volunteers of the lilac bush and the little ferny plant with pink flowers.
I tried to plan it so that something is blooming at all times, but because the garden is between two buildings, it has its own microclimate that makes it behave unseasonably. My daffodils still aren’t out so I guess they’re not coming (?) Sorry I don’t know all the names of these plants. I’ll have to do some research. Feel free to chime in you botanical experts!
