He’s all grown up

Well, as many of you know, Stephen turned 30 last week. (yay S! I’m so proud.) I always wanted to end up with an “older man” ;)

So we did our “last hurrah of youth” last year this time when we went to London (on Stephen’s birthday to the date), so this year we had to come up with a more domestic theme.

I thought of a fun idea…how about going to Stephen Starr’s super swanky new restaurant in Philadelphia, Tangerine, and take all our friends … (mmm Morrocan!) and it will only really require the small inconvenience of a second mortgage.

How about a new pet…I love alpacas.com?

Well, I know better by now than to suggest such outlandish notions after being married to S. for 2+ years now. Here’s to Stephen’s dream birthday which included:

His mom’s cherry pie

Ushering in the era of the black foreboding mylar balloon that everyone except you finds amusing “oh no the big 3 0″

The guitar that he has been drooling on for some time

Pizza and wings with friends and their cute kids

So happy birthday honey…I hope you enjoyed your big day.
